Is this for real?

I just saw something similar for 100 euro a kilo. That's a bit the same. I think they only sell this crazy expensive stuff with Christmas. First time I saw it cause I was looking for something.

An A5 Wagyu steak can be around $100 or more, so for this, I'd say yep, it's real and not an error.
That is unimaginable.
Several years ago I picked up a nice looking ribeye roast at Costco. After we checked out I noticed that it was $16.99/lb, which sent me into total shock. Needless to say, I made sure that roast was cooked absolutely perfectly. Not a bit went to waste, not even the grease. šŸ˜‹

Oh that's nothing. My buddy is a big time fishermen and I always tease him at the cost, $50k boat, $75k truck to pull it, yearly lisences, fuel, tackle, bait, etc. All that and when he goes walleye fishing he can only keep six fish, I tell him his fish cost $20k a pound! lol

It is for real. I know it under the name "Kobe beef".
Kobe beef - Wikipedia

The average price of filet Mignon (Tenderloin) cut from Kobe beef is $560 - $960+ per pound!
Real Kobe Beef Prices: 2024 Cost Guide & Buying Tips

The participants of the annual WEF (World Economic Forum) meeting in January in Davos (Switzerland) come by their own aeroplanes, but want us normal citizens make to stop flying because of human climate change and eat Kobe beef every day but want us to eat insects. More hypocrisy is not possible.

Just regular Texas cows here. Got the kids a ribeye roast for $5.97lb. They also got some lobster tails (small ones) for $4.97 each and a whole slab of salmon for 6.97lb. Best part, I don't have to cook any of it!!
