It can't be that time already?

Looking through the obscure channels on TV trying to find something watchable (it's becoming difficult) I was amazed to find one movie channel showing.......
EASTER PARADE!
We have a Roku with literally hundreds of movies and programs available. We end up watching the same movies again that we saw in the past when they knew how to make movies. Back when the writers knew how to write, the directors knew how to construct a movie, and the stars, who are unforgettable to this day, knew how to make you believe the story.

Those qualities are almost non existent today in movies. The writers have no sense of values outside of violence. The actors are empty shells merely remembering their lines and where to stand for the camera. The directors don't give a damn except to keep the film under or at budget.

Sad. It all reflects today's present society
