Italy calls in military to enforce Coronavirus lockdown

It sure is a very, very sad situation in Italy. I agree that they need to restrict even more than they have been since the death rate is so very high.

I really hope and pray that the situation here doesn't get to that point that they have in Italy. I mean I really hope what we are doing now is going to cut down on the death rate. We are doing a lot here and I understand very well why--people left to their own device don't follow suggestions! And I don't mean everyone. There are lots of sensible people who listen but also there are many who throw caution to the wind, too.
 

Italy announced 793 more deaths on Saturday, the second day in a row of the biggest day-to-day increase in the country's four-week epidemic, after surpassing China's death toll on Thursday.


The total number of deaths in Italy has now reached 4,825.

I saw on our local news tonight an Italian doctor stating that too many people ignored the stay home warnings.

Please people, if you can stay at home without danger, do so.
