I am sitting in my bathing suit and reclining in my Lazy Boy Recliner sipping a cool glass 0f Sauvignon Blanc and paying half attention to the evening news. My over head fan is fanning away and the thermostat is set to 78 F to conserve energy.
I will go down to the pool about 9PM for a evening dip before bed. Tomorrow is forecast even hotter so I had better really chill my white wines.:D

The weather reports have been saying that the SW...places like Las Vegas and Phoenix, may set all time record highs this week. We made the mistake of going to Las Vegas during the Summer a few years ago, and even though the humidity was quite low, 105+ degrees is still way to hot to enjoy. Here, in the Midwest, when the temp goes above 90, staying indoors is prudent, because the humidity can easily make it seem like over 100.

Still uncomfortable here, and it's nearly midnight. Our swamp coolers here don't really do a great job when it gets over 100. Daytime temps still going up here. I've been getting up super early and doing whatever needs doing outside -- watering, picking up dog poop, hanging clothes -- right away (like 5:30 AM). I don't know how people whose jobs require them to work outside can do it. I'd up and die if I had to work up on a roof or something like that all day in 100+ temps.

it's just too hot here with high humidity. I put my cpap machine water filled humidifier in the fridge until I go to bed. Almost makes me need a blanket....
