Wow, do those ever look great! I'd like the one in the middle with lots of cheese on it. I'm a chees-aholic! I have to lay off it at times.

Our local hot dog institution: Irvings Red Hots. A buddy of mine built the stand more than 40 years ago. This was it's summer location known as "hot dog hill" on Main St in downtown Ketchum until 2 years ago. Lot was sold for condos and bougie stores so now it's in another location downtown on Sun Valley Road. In the winter it's moved to the base of Bald Mtn on the Warm Spring side to serve skiers.
In fact I've been wanting an Irvings so I grabbed one yesterday only to find the product deflated in size, but also inflated by 33% in price. $6 still beats the $16 price right across the street in the ski lodge however.
Winter location if front of the Heidelberg, where some bought condos so they could park directly across from the lifts, Bruce and Demi for instance. Imagine owning a ~$200,000 condo exclusively to park your car and keep your skis and boots in!!!

Cook my dog (has to be a brat) until its a little burnt and split, toast the bun a bit, and add a stripe of bright yellow mustard.... that's all....now hand it to me.
Yum, never had it with bacon....Yet!

I like a fried hot dog (or baloney) and mustard sandwich once in a while....I have been known to reach in the frig and grab a cold hot dog straight out of the package and eat it as a snack.

I'll have to try that! I have some Mac n cheese and hotdogs, all I need is bacon@Ruthanne ; If you ever have some left over Mac 'N Cheese, put that in the bun with your hot dog. If you love cheese, you'll a Mac 'n Cheese dog I'm sure. Add a slice of bacon & make it deluxe! You'll love it
