It's not what I usually listen to, but I like it

I hope that people will share some of the music they like that falls outside of what they usually listen to or listened to when they first heard it.

I am not a fan of country music overall but I do enjoy some of the classics, especially Patsy Cline. I first heard Carrie Rodriguez in 2009 and then started actively choosing hear more of her work in 2010. This song is my favorite song of hers. It ticks off two of the things I love in music, wonderful female vocals and some great violin or in this case fiddle since it's a country piece. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did and I look forward to hearing some of the things you enjoy outside of your usual musical choices.

I'm not a big fan of country music either but I do like George Strait's smooth baritone =)

Back home we had a thrift store that had second everything. I used to go through the cassettes and CDs looking to see what they had. One day I came across this cassette and it peaked my interest. I'm now hooked on Putamayo world music. This album is the one I bought that day. I have discovered I enjoy music from other parts of the world.
