I've been invited for my fifth jab

I really am in a dilemma. I have been invited for my flu jab and next COVID jab.
I am fine about having the flu one, but after last year I am so frightened of another COVID jab.
After the fourth jab I couldn't eat, got pains all over my body as well as an expected sore arm. It was as if my body went into an alarm mode and I just got one thing after another, never felt properly well since.

I know it's my decision. On balance I think surely I have enough resistance built up, especially as I actually had COVID and recovered, deaths are few, variants may be easier spread but are probably no more serious.
So will you have your fifth?

For me it will be my fourth since my first was the Johnson & Johnson variety. I've had reactions before to a variety of vaccinations. But, if it were a choice between the reaction vs the actual disease I'd take the reaction any time.

The way I look at it is that we are fortunate to live in nations whose governments actually care about their citizens. My choice is to respond as a responsible citizen should in such a land. I don't want to sicken others in such a fantastic country as the one I live in.

My last shot was in june of last year. I was waiting till the new shot came out to get another vaccination. This week we all have covid. While no-one is going to die…the vaccination would of been easier.
