..I've photographed some important documents and uploaded them to my computer as well. I've paid my credit card bill and checked my bank accounts...

I've even made a cuppa tea...

Why am I telling you all this ?

....because while I was doing all this I've been on hold on the phone to the Hospital Appointments line... !!:oops::oops::oops:

I received an appointment date , but in the letter they haven't said what the appointment is for.. so I had to call them. When I called initially I was number 48 in the queue... I've done all things that I said above, while waiting for them to answer the phone.. and I'm STILL only currently number 15 in the queue... šŸ˜£

well the thing is I was told I'd be getting an appointment to see a consultant, but it wouldn't be for many months due to the long waiting list... and this is only 2 weeks ago, and because they've not said what the appointment is for in the letter I don't know if it's what I'm waiting for... it would seem very quick after they've told me it will be a long time ..!
 
I hang my head in shame.

I missed an appointment today because.......... well who wants to know?

I was supposed to get an EKG. I have a secondary appointment in April.

I don't even want to think about it.

yes it's a cordless landline. This is part of the reason I keep my landline phones.. because so often I'm kept waiting in queues for very long periods, and the battery in my iphone can run out ... and also there's certain parts of the house where the mobile phone doesn't get a good signal an can drop out. Whereas the cordless landline goes everywhere...
