I saw Jane Fonda on the Katie Couric show recently, and for being almost 75 years old, she not only looks fantastic, but she's together in her mind and attitude also. She always was into fitness, many tapes/cds sold. She admits she had minor plastic surgery on her face, mostly bags under eyes and chin/neck adjustments. She said that she definitely wanted to keep her wrinkles, and wanted her natural look...kudos to Jane, she avoided what many other have suffered from.

She also has had a knee and hip replacement, which surprised me because she was so physically active all her life.

The actress who amazes me is Betty White, born Jan. 17, 1922. At 90 years old, she is still making commercials and she made a Hallmark movie last year. Wasn't a real fan of her when she was younger, but I am quite amazed at her energy level at 90 years old. Betty White looks really good for a 90 year old, she is bright, perky, and cheerful. Can't say that for many 90 year olds or even for many people younger than her.

The Hallmark movie that Betty White made just recently is called: The Lost Valentine
I think it is quite a good movie and worth seeing.

I think the luck of the draw when it comes to genetics plays a very large part in such people's appearances. Sure, you can augment with surgery, diet, lifestyle etc. but it's like competitive bodybuilding - if you don't have the genes you aren't going to survive.

We all age differently - Fonda and White are just two of the lucky ones, especially considering the field they're in.
