I've heard that to sell or even possess Jarts (lawn darts) is illegal in the U.S. They will not even allow people to post them on eBay. This is a typical knee-jerk reaction because some people misused the game and were seriously injured, some even killed. Even though they have of a sharp, lead projectile, they are harmless if used properly and with sober adult supervision if children are using them. I have a set (which I remember playing with decades ago and never got hurt) and not sure what to do with this iconic game of the 1970s. If I sell them and someone is hurt using them, I'd be liable. Seems a shame to trash them, though.
