A Federal Civil Rights complaint was filed today by and through his Mother, Jada, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
The complaint seeks on its face a Million $$ for each bullet that struck Jayland, a total of 45, ergo $45,000,000.00. Also Punitive damages to be proven at trial.
Count 1: Excessive force.
Count 2: Supervisory liability.
Count 3: Municipal liability pursuant to Monell.
Monell is a USSC case outlining elements needed to sue a Municipality under the Civil Rights Act of 1871, codified at 42 USC 1983, known as a 1983 Action.
