He may score a 100 as a humanitarian, but as a former president that would falsely accuse a sitting president as winning an election with the aid of Russian interference definitely skews his credibility as an honest person. People can show their true colors when the chips are on the line and the loser is sitting on an “Ace.”

Why Carter would go on national TV and make such a claim completely discredits his integrity. I don’t recall any other former president shaming a sitting president. Even after Carter had learned he was mistaken of his assault on the sitting president, he didn’t have enough fortitude to apologize or show any repentance.

This forum IS a no politics forum. For some reason most of your posts are political oriented. Can you not help yourself? There are other forums on the web that happily accept politics. This isn’t one of them.

I am sorry if I upset you, but I don’t see this as a political post. It’s about a person’s background and his virtue and nothing more. The post only speaks of a person’s character. I spent most of my life around politicians, but never involved myself in any of their political matters.

I don’t see anything wrong with addressing a person’s character. It just so happens that these people being talked about are politicians, but has nothing to do with their policies or agendas.

 
The irony is there are other forums that welcome nasty people who get banned from forums then return under an alias pretending they're not the deeply disturbed person who has already been banned

It IS politics but I don’t really care. Luckily I don’t get involved in politics It’s just a shame that someone thought he was dead and he isn’t. Spam away.

It was absolutely political BTL !!!

Jimmy Carter is the latest on the list of Death Hoaxes, as they are called. Due to his age, I guess they thought it would be believable. Shame on those who do these things and I hope they come back to bite them in the a*s one day. :mad:

I disagree. My posts only concern his reputation and his character. A person can be the kindness person you have known, but otoh, he can also have been involved in things that had you known him before, you may have thought differently of him.

Someone wrote he was a great humanitarian and I countered that. It just so happens that these two men are politicians. Maybe you’re the one that’s making it political.

Had it been about Shaquille O’Neal and how great a humanitarian he is and I would have wrote, “Not so fast. He once stabbed a kid in school.” I guess that would have been OK?
