A potentially great racehorse that never was. Brother to Black Caviar, 'Jimmy' a $5 mill yearling, was put down today after showing no signs of recovering from a severe infection from a suspected White Tailed Spider bite. He had an adverse reaction to the antibiotics and never improved.
He never got a chance to show how good he was going to be, and now we'll never know. I'm not a punter but Black Cav is an icon and I think we were all a little excited that her brother was coming up to replace her.
His 'owner' has gone bankrupt now too, as happens in the racing game he appears to be a crook of some standing.

don't care a toss about the people involved though.
