Jimmy Kimmel's Video Of Parents Telling Their Kids They Ate All Of Their Halloween Candy

The video available on youtube is a little concerning in that the manner in which some of the kids respond to the bad news. They are meant to be funny but some of the kids reactions are not what I would have said and done at that age. They threaten their parents, throw things at them and tell them they hate them. Now, I have never had kids but I'm a little surprised at the reactions on some of the kids. Maybe that is the new norm, I don't know.

I saw a clip of that & thought it was downright mean. I think the only parents who would do that are ones who already have a streak of mean teasing in their personality. Is Kimmel one of those “hosts” who had a mean streak on air, tries to embarrass people? I think at least a couple of others do.

I think it was very cruel to do this to their children it’s like goading them! They are also lying to their children which sets a bad example I love a great joke and I love funny people but you don’t use humor at people especially your children’s expense.
