If you haven't watched the Get Back documentary yet, it's well worth the watch! The really remarkable thing about The Beatles was, they were still all in their 20s when that was made! I love watching geniuses at work.

I remember when the 1st Beatles song was released here in the states. "Love Me Do" in 1963. Something about their music was joyful. I've been a fan ever since. I have a 9 year old granddaughter who won't give them a chance because it's old music. Such a loss. Maybe some day.

I'm going to wait until January to watch "Get Back". After the holidays and when January is so depressing, it will be a lift up in mood.

They were great to watch because you could tell they were having a tremendous amount of fun playing and just enjoyed being with each other. They were great friends and were a great band that could make even mediocre songs sound good. And they had a unique sound to their music which made each one of them irreplaceable. None of them came anywhere close in their solo careers to what they had together as The Beatles.
