This morning news told me that singer John Prine is gone. He died at the age of 73 due to complication associated with Cornovirus. I saw some videos showing his singing but the videos were not that good. I really don't like music videos; guess I never did. Most are just silly, showing more under dressed young girls than the actual singer singing the song. Anyway, off I go to my huge collection of purchased CDs. Just knew I had a John Prine somewhere. Yup! There it was. The John Prine Anthology CD, compiled by Rhino Records in 1993. It got 21 songs, including my favourite John Prine song, "That's the Way The World Goes 'Round" Think I'll listen to it tomorrow. Nothing like good music or a good book to forget what the media is telling us all the time to remember: Cornovirus.
