One of my favorite TV shows from my childhood was "Lassie' '57-'64. Jon Provost who played'Timmy Martin" is 68 today.
Jon wasn't the first actor in this role,Tommy Rettig played"Jeff Martin' ''54-'57
Jon's TV parents were played by Hugh Reilly and June Lockhart,he has remained close with her to this day
After his TV career ended,JOn worked as a real estate agent.He serves on the board of "Canine Companions for Independence",an org that provides service dogs to people who need help. He also appears at autograph shows at some comic con events.
The checkered shirt and jeans he wore on the show are in the Smithsonian located next to Archie Bunker's chair
