Maple Bacon ice cream & YES, I will have it again & again.

I don't like too much coming between me and the smooth, luscious, creaminess of my ice cream. So, I'm not particularly fond of add-ins. The exceptions are a caramel or fudge swirl, or fresh cherries or peaches that I add to vanilla ice cream.
There used to be an ice cream shop in town that had the most divine black raspberry ice cream, but they're long gone. I still think about that ice cream. Another ice cream shop from back in the day had tons of add-ins to choose from. I wasn't interested except for in the summer when they had fresh peaches which I'd have blended into sweet cream ice cream. Simple, but it was to die for.

It was ice cream, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, the only dairy that made it, stopped making it. Their
reason was "because it isn't being ordered by restaurateurs".

Oh Mylanta! I love maple *and* bacon and I've never in my life heard of maple bacon ice cream... but I NEED some! Could I bribe you into sharing the brand, @Lilac ??

I've never tasted anything out of the usual when it comes to ice cream..my fave is Haagen-Dazs Strawberries and cream which I have in the freezer all the time. .. I like Pistachio too.. but I don't have it very often.. Currently in my freezer I have these..

of their flavours
Sometimes, we take a freezer pack in an insulated bag, and buy a carton. It costs about the same as 2 cones.
