Just came in after watering my bird bath and fountain

MAN ! That's quite a job with those temps. Can YOU fit yourself into that birdbath?

It's 87º here right now (3:10 PM) but will cool down a little towards evening.

MY birds (sparrows and doves) are doing OK; not bathing but drinking water.

Gotta make more humming bird juice for those little monsters. It's almost dry.

You are about 3 degrees hotter than I am, AZJim! Nice of you to make sure the birds have water!

Jim, remember the friend I was telling you about who lives in Sun City West? She had a part-time job in Surprise at a Michael's crafts store for a couple years.

106 - no thanks. I prefer the double digits. Nice of you to keep the birds watered. :)

This is a great area but we do get some heat in June, July, Aug.....Beats the snow that locks folks in some places, Oct, Nov, Dec,Jan, Feb.....

I looked at your 10 day forcast, very similar to mine..next two days a slight cool off into the upper 90's them back up again.

Hang around, I'll hit just short of 120 before our heat season is over. In fact, when I was in Lake Havasu we hit 129 a record. Honestly look it up. The record for America is 132 at Death Valley (and people wonder how it got it's name)

We don't get that hot, a very hot day might reach 115 but that's not too often...it's just that it never cools below 100 for months.
