I haven't read his books in quite a while but Gary mentioned to me yesterday that he per-ordered it on Amazon, I looked and it looks like in the US that came out in December...poor Gary has to wait til March, wonder why that is?

Anyway...what are you reading?

Let us know how it is, CeeCee; I used to love Dean Koontz' books, but haven't read any in a while, either. Just finished Stephen King's 'Under the Dome', and Mother Teresa (not a Stephen King book), and now am reading 'The Survivors Club' by Ben Sherwood.

Under the Dome was a bit long for me, and not as good as some of his books, imo.

I loved "Under the Dome" until it got to the solution part at the end. As with "It", he gets too, well . . . ridiculous with that stuff.

My older sister just recommended "The Goldfinch" which I've been meaning to find. She had recommended and then sent me "The Orphan Master's Son" and I love her for such great suggestions.

After throughly enjoying "World War Z", found "Zoo" which says on the inside cover, ' . . . and this time it's not zombies'.

I hooked a copy of World War Z but haven't read it yet, along with about 20 others I havent yet either. Good read???

I like Koontz's books only ever one Odd Thomas and liked it, didn't know there were more. I might look for them to add to the 'to read' box.

I have " Under the Dome" and couldn't get into it.

I am reading Witches, a tale of Sorcery, Scandal and Seduction.
this is a true story of one of the last witch trials in England.
why do you think my son gave it to me?!

World War Z is so well written. It had me thinking it could actually happen and gave me the creeps.

The buzz is that the movie, (WWZ) as usual, isnt a patch on the book but haven't seen either yet.

Not too many movies are though. The only ones I can think of is LOTR (hated the books, couldn't read them, loved the movies) and Game of Thrones. Those books are rippers and the HBO version does them justice.
