Just When You Thought Something Was Sacred

Did you hear about this GYN in the news? He committed suicide after being caught doing his dirty deeds. He used to perform GYN exams with no gloves on, and had numerous video cameras in his office that were recording his female patients while he "examined" them. He also had a pocket pen that was a video cam.

So, now there are over 2000 women/girls that saw him, and are wondering what happened to any videos that may have been taken of them in his office. They say most of his clients were not highly educated and low income, and were not aware that they were being abused at all. He also asked the female assistant to leave the room at times, and wouldn't let them return.

First of all, if my GYN started to do anything to me without gloves on, I'd be outta there in no time! Whether he was seeing the patient before me, eating an egg salad sandwich, or using the toilet...I would not want his skin touching mine. I never had the need for a female attendant, but noticed that they did start using them awhile ago. If he told that woman to leave, I would tell her 'you stay here, the doctor may need your assistance, taking my foot out of his arse. EEEWWWW...disgusting, gross and nasty. When I hear these things, I always wonder why anyone would spend the time and money to go to medical school and do things that jeopardize their license, career, freedom and ability to earn a very good living for a cheap thrill.

I also cannot understand what motivates people to become proctologists or Gyns in the first place, and why would a straight woman want to be a gyn, and if she weren't straight, why would straight women go to her?

There are many field of medicine that earn a lot more money and have more prestige than those two. I also always wonder about being married to a gyn, is he comparing me?... and...does a gyn feel like a kennel worker. After listening to dogs bark all day, does he really want to go home and hear his dog bark too? Do people at a party really want to shake a proctologist's hand after being introduced?

Having pondered on this, those professions are needed and I'm grateful someone wants to step up and and do them.

Some in those professions are really out to help others. I think a lot of GYNs are interested in the miracle of life, pregnancies, etc. I was never pregnant, and I no longer go to GYNs, unless I had sudden pain or bleeding and thought there was something wrong. I wouldn't want to be married to one either, childish maybe, but I think it would affect our sexual relationship because he would always think of that area in a medical way.

Not sure about proctologists, but if I ever need one, I'll be thankful that they're there. The guys like the one in the article have a sexual addiction, and perhaps they planned to do things like that all along, while they were studying in school.

All the doctors I've ever used were completely professional and proper, both male and female. But I guess nowadays, you always have to keeps a suspicious eye out, and watch your back in all areas...it's a shame really.
