Kentucky Derby is May 4th

I love Hot Brown. I'll get it an any restaurant that serves it when we are in Kentucky. I was just looking at those recipes again last night & was thinking of making that for Derby Day. I still have pecans that have been soaking in bourbon since Christmas for pie.

I've never had a Hot Brown. I should make one, anyway.... but then I'll get hooked since it sounds amazing.

Your pecans must be soused by now, LOL. I'll bet your pie is also amazing.

A few of them are cute. But the prices are unbelievable.

Thank you for the link Lilac. The price of those hats is ridiculous. Some look like fascinators...didn't know they wore those to the derby. I'm underwhelmed by some of those hats, some my mother would have loved.
