Starting Monday Jan 10 KFC will sell beyond meat chicken nuggets. They have researched this product for two years. I wonder what their first few attempts tasted like.

Harming animals............how many "animals do we slaughter for food and euthanize for homelessness every year?Wonder if the "beyond meat" is the cellular agriculture mentioned in an article I read just this morning:

I don't "have to" always have meat, I enjoy a veggie burger occasionally, but don't try to pretend that it is meat. Many vegetables are delicious by themselves why do i need them pressed and processed and flavored to pretend i am eating meat.
Do that many people who do not eat meat frequent KFC .... i never found their side dishes to be a big draw .....

I don't think breaded and deep-fried vegie burgers are going to help with the obesity problem, nor do I believe they're going to be popular, although they might be tasty. You can bread and deep-fry cardboard and it would be tasty! Our agriculture is going to change substantially in coming years. This 'beyond meat" stuff is just the start of what we may see in coming years. Animal waste and Flatulence is a huge contributor to the increasing abundance of Methane....which is many times more dangerous to our environment than CO2. All the growth hormones that are added to our chicken/livestock feed stays in that meat and is consumed by those who eat the meat....which, IMO, is a major contributor to the nations increasing Obesity.

Amen!I don't "have to" always have meat, I enjoy a veggie burger occasionally, but don't try to pretend that it is meat.
KFC and most other fast food places hold no appeal for me, I doubt if the truly health conscious non-meat eaters would consider eating KFC in the first place.
