Take it for what it's worth, the KimKomando's site linked here has an alert that 10B emails/user id's have been compromised. I'm good on all our email accounts. My daughter's Amazon/email address has been compromised or breached 8 times on the 1st checker & 5 times on the 2nd. I removed my wife's debit card from that account as a precaution.

Don't know if it's a bogus alert or not.

Never liked nor trusted Chrome, use Firefox, Linux & I'm anal about using as many checks & balances as I can.

1. Disable bluetooth on startup.
2. Use VPN access.
3. Use Linux (I use Firefox with strict privacy settings).
4. Set Firewall on laptop (reset password on modem).
5. Clear history, cookies,,,on exits.
6. Use Ghostery & uBlock (more than 2 causes thrashing).
7. Use single/complex passwords, change often. (Personally need to remember 2016).
8. Be cautious about watching your accounts (especially financial) going forward.

Yeah, I know I should change my passwords at least once a year....and I probly will, hereafter.

I also use Firefox. Have done for many years and never had any issues. I couldn't uninstall Edge on my PC, but it seems I've managed to basically turn it off.
