Krill for Omega 3's anyone?

I just read something that I didn't know and it's something to think about folks. If you are one of those in the habit of purchasing krill based supplements for your omega 3 requirements, you are helping upset the balance of nature and that is hurting the sea life that depends on it for survival because it's one of their main food sources.

'Penguins, seals and whales in the Southern Ocean are being threatened by a declining krill population caused by climate change and melting Antarctic sea ice.
The inch-long crustaceans are considered the 'basis' of the Antarctic food chain and use sea ice to protect themselves and feed from the algae that grows from it.........

Perhaps switching to walnuts would be a better way to go. I've heard that as little as two walnut halves will meet your daily requirement needs and I've also read that as little as a palm full each day can help stave off heart disease and some forms of cancer. So maybe leave the krill for the penguins and go for the nuts! What's more, while you are doing your body soooooo much good, you are satisfying that ridiculous  urge to munch on something! It's a win-win!

Oh and while I've got you on the line(hehe:)), I just heard or read in the last day or two, that for those who are enthusiasts for blue fin tuna sushi, you are going to have to make different choices because that population has dropped by 97% due to overfishing. They are on the verge of extinction. Seems to me that continued consumption would put those tuna sushi eaters in the same club as the men who killed the millions of plains buffalo and the last passenger pigeons. But that's really not who you are right? I'm hinting here folks, anyone catching what I'm throwing?????
