Lack of continuity in movies.

Watching The Bucket List.
Carter - Morgan Freeman, is laying in the bath with plenty of soap suds.
First shot, suds covering his right pec, second shot, suds well below his pec, next shot, covering pec, next shot, below.
All within 30 seconds, such an obvious lack of continuity.

There are whole programmes devoted to poor continuity. In the film, Romancing the Stone, Kathleen Turner managed to change her shoes while being chased on top of a train!

Then there are anomalies such as a Roman soldier wearing a wrist watch, contrails in the sky and 4 wheel drive tracks for a 19th century western.

It's a movie not real life. It's done for people who may take advice from, or adjust their lives over what the actors do in the movie.

There is an episode of Seinfeld, where Kramer buys a pair of training shoes to jump higher in Basketball. They look like some kind of specialized orthopedic shoes. He's in Jerry's apartment sitting on the couch and put's his feet up on the coffee table. The bottom of the shoes each have a very wide bright orange tape across the soles.The camera switches to another character for a few words and switches back to Kramer. The orange tape is gone.

The weird thing to me was that reshooting the first scene would have taken less than 5 minutes.
