Lactaid Ice Cream Reaction?

At times, I am lactose intolerant.
It was years since I last had any kind of ice cream.

For the first time in years, yesterday I had some Lactaid Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream.
This morning my bowels not only moved,but they moved to the point of causing me to think it was a lactose reaction to my lactaid ice cream.

Was that a lactose intolerant reaction?

May be a milk allergy... Lactaid products still cause trouble for people with milk allergies. Maybe a casein issue instead of just milk? Do you have the same issue with cheese?

I do not have an accurate memory.
It was awhile back,since I last had a swiss cheese grilled sandwhich.
I think I may have of had a small rection.
I do not remember.

I have been staying away from cheese and ice cream.
I sometimes have a capuccino without having a lactose intolerant reaction.

Would my local pharmacy know this answer?

Sometimes it’s not just the lactose. Dairy is hard to digest. When we get older it’s even harder to digest. Lactaid might be lactose free but not dairy free and who knows whatelse is added. You picked a chocolate cookie dough flavour. What’s in the cookie dough?
 
Maybe it was because you introduced a soft and sloppy food that simply loosened up the food that was already being digested. Kind of like flavored Liquid Plumber.

I just finished talking with my local pharmacist.
In my case, he said it was most likely a lactose intolerant reaction.

.Hmm never heard that from lactaid products unless they have some kind of sugar alcohol in it.
