Ladies, Have You Ever Experienced Intermittent Vibration Sensations in Your Breast?

Early this morning I felt a strange sensation in one of my breasts, it was like a mild vibration similar to having a small cell phone on low vibrate in your breast pocket, and getting calls throughout the day. After it happened several times, I told my husband about it.

It continued throughout the day, just at random times, just happened again while typing this. There's no pain, but it's definitely a kooky feeling that I never had before. I started searching about it online, and it seems that it happens to a lot of women, but nobody can really pinpoint the cause. Funny because a lot of people described it just the way I did to my husband.

They eliminated cancer, but suggested it might be a muscle spasm or something to do with the nerves. I was thinking that maybe it was the way I was sleeping last night, putting some pressure on something. Any women here ever have such a thing happen to them? If so, how long did it last and did you ever find the cause?

Thanks for the links Keesha, I did already see a couple of them. It does seem to be pretty common, I'm not too worried about it, just wondered if anyone here has experienced it. I'll post again if it stops, hopefully it's just for a day or two. It doesn't hurt so I can live with it for a little while. :D

Interesting...

The only weird feeling I ever had in my breasts was the tingling I felt during the "let down reflex" which pushes milk to the nipple during breastfeeding.

Ironically, the "let down reflex" is caused by the release of the hormone, oxytocin... the same hormone released during orgasm.

Thanks for your reply KingsX, I don't have any children so I never experienced breastfeeding, interesting. By the way, was still feeling it on and off throughout the night and this morning.

I have never had what you are experiencing BUT when I've neglected my low dose Iodine for a short time I would end up with tenderness and pain...now I don't skip my 1 drop in my drink daily. There is a lot of info on breast health and iodine and I've been dosing for many years, all tissues need iodine and breast tissues for sure.

Do you get mammograms, I had two in my early 50's and none since. I don't trust the whole mamm industry and what they can be doing to our healthy breasts. jam

I don't get mammograms for that very reason. Repeatedly exposing healthy breasts to radiation doesn't suit me.

I never got regular mammograms Jam, just did them now and then. The last one I had was in 2015, and that was going to be my last one. But yesterday when I had this vibration thing going on, was the first time I got anything in the mail from Kaiser since I went on their Medicare Advantage Plan, and it was a reminder that I was well overdue for a mammogram. Those two occurrences together put me in a weird mood yesterday, and I actually made an appointment for one on August 1st.

I don't like getting xrays, they give way to many IMO, just to make more money. I have to resist at the dentist too, they're always wanting to give me more xrays, and sometimes I just refuse.

They really are fearful and sometimes think do they cause any cells to spread in the breasts. My mother and her sisters and before them never had these tests. I don't recall any of those ladies having B.C. or even other cancers.

One very good friend is 74 and she's never had one.

Update on the vibes, it only lasted two days, yesterday and the day before I didn't feel any of those sensations. Since I've been doing some work and lifting a lot of things lately, I figure it must have been some type of muscle spasm.
