I went through the frustration of trying to find another lawn mowing service. I mentioned it to my next-door neighbor (the one that helped me clean my flooded basement last summer). He seems to have his ear to the ground with neighborhood goings-on. He said most lawn services around here are commercial enterprises and landscaping businesses (I didn't know landscaping DIDN'T include mowing). He offered to do it with a friend (who handled the edging and trimming). Two guys, 2 hours, $45.
After that I walked around and saw this interesting looking plant growing next to the foundation. It isn't what I thought it was at first - it's actually cinquefoil.
