Leaf Rollers Everywhere!

Are there any Northern gardeners here? (Great Lakes Region for me)

This year some kind(s) of Leaf Rollers are in everything from Asters to Lemon Balm and beyond - even Borage has had a few!

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll try to post a photo and link.

lol... I'm still trying to understand how to navigate this site. ☺

We have a few in central CT so far, but a bad infestation is going on in the eastern area; a lot of defoliation.

Sometimes, when this happens, after awhile certain birds not really indigenous come in to feed on them.

I'm from New Jersey and I haven't noticed leaf rollers yet. When I dug my garden earlier in the spring I did notice a lot of Japanese beetle grubs in the soil. We haven't had them in awhile. I think we will later on in the summer though. We are due.

I live in north-central British Columbia and have been crushing leaf rollers on my little cherry tree this year. Have never seen them before in this area, perhaps they are moving north due to climate change?
