A fact is more than information. A fact is something that can be proven by empirical observation. It’s a fact that the sun rises in the east. Why is that a fact? Because it’s verifiable by observation over a period of time. I mean, I could Google from which direction the sun rises and it could tell me anything! It would still be giving me information, but to make it a fact it would need to be provable.

An opinion is just my view of something, not necessarily based on fact, or my experience. It’s my opinion that pedophiles and animal cruelty offenders should have done to them exactly what they perpetrated on their victims! 😡 I think many opinions are emotion driven. Mine about pedophiles and animal cruelty folks most certainly are? My opinion has not a damn thing to do with my own information or experience.

Which brings me to the third statement. My opinion above, that is not based on information or experience, doesn’t make me ignorant, just very passionate about the subject.

Stupidity is a lack of reason, good sense or judgment. But see, one of my most favorite sayings is “If it’s stupid, but it works, it ain’t stupid.” So, if something works for you, even if it goes completely against common wisdom or reason, are you stupid for doing it anyway, or stupid if you don’t??

In a Court setting that would be known as "Judicial notice", a fact that can not be argued, such as a crime was committed on Easter, therefore it was committed on a Sunday, this is JD. No side can dispute it.
