LI schools superintendent threatens to ‘cough all over everyone’ at his gym

A Long Island schools superintendent threatened to become a COVID-19 super-spreader at his gym if it didn’t keep his membership frozen.

Bill Heidenreich, the $281,000-a-year chief of Valley Stream Central HS District, left voice messages at the gym warning he would “cough on everyone” and “spread the disease” at the local fitness center.

That bully should lose his job. If he acts like this for a perceived treatment, imagine what he does as a boss. He already showed he’s stupid by leaving the threatening phone messages.
 
I know Valley Stream which is not part of the infamous get away with murder powerbroker a-list five towns area but this is nothing new. It sounds like the NCPD had the VSSD supt. work out the usual apology deal. I bet the supt. lives in the Five Towns area too. Typical.

Lose his job? What he did was stupid, agreed, but this isn't evidence that he's been a poor school superintendent.
If he's fired over this he'll likely sue for unlawful termination or receive a generous buy out on his contract.
 
There have been many people who have lost their jobs because of behaviour incompatible with the values of the employer. That superintendent made several threatening phone calls saying he had Covid and would cough all over people. These are just some that pop into my mind.

There was the white woman who called the police on the black birder in Central Park.
How about actors who lose their job because of bad behaviour.
A couple of Canadian examples.
A man in an condo elevator was hitting a dog. Fired.
The singer for Vancouver Canucks was fired for leading an anti-mask rally. Fired. He wasn’t charged with anything - he had freedom of speech. He was breaking the latest medical health rules and could have been charged. His employer had no need to keep him employed.
