I puzzled* over the Sean Carroll book that inspired this brilliant song and video. There is a lot of interesting bits worked into the video and the music and this guy’s harmonies makes the whole process awe and wonder inspiring.

*Meaning I picked it up for some fun summer reading. My science background is too minimal to understand it all but fortunately the guy is a good enough writer to help lay brother out.

This video was a big hit on the Christian website & forums BioLogos, a Christian organization dedicated to reconciling a real science where I have a band of kindred spirits who don’t let my non status get in the way.

I'm going to look for some of Sean Carroll's books. He's an atheist and advocates for the separation of church and state... my kind of writer! He also writes that religion is no longer needed as we now know enough about how the world and the universe were created that we don't need to fill in the gaps with wild-ass-guesses that include supernatural intervention.

Most of the Christians I know also advocate for the separation of church and state. But they are science types mostly.
