Yesterday my daughter and I, sitting on separate sofas, both silently engrossed on our ipads, no conversation as was usually the case. She, as normal was on Facebook. I was perusing the Games threads here in the forum. I had come across the 'Rock n roll bands and artists' thread. And was trying to recall some of the music of my youth.
A particular song suddenly sprung to mind. 'Sealed with a kiss' by Brian Hyland. Released in the mid 1950s. So next time the letter 'S' came around I decided I would slip that one in. As I said. no conversation had taken place but just 10 minutes later my daughter suddenly said "OMG! I've got this tune buzzing around in my head, after which she hummed "Though we've gotta say goodbye for the summer". The first line of "Sealed with a kiss"
I told her I was thinking about that song just a few minutes ago. I didn't even know she was aware of the song since it was released some 20 years before she was even born!
