Limit number of links in a post?

When there are excessive numbers of links and/or videos in a single post, it can stop your browser dead in its tracks. So even a good thread can effectively be shut down.

I wish there were a limit. I tend to skip over posts that are simply a list of URLs and/or videos, especially if little or no introductory/explanatory text is provided.

I understand whta you mean.. there are certain members who only post link after link after link in a thread...sometimes as many as 10 links in one single post. I never click on them ever !

The shorter the post to get across what one has to say with only a link or two for support gets the best attention.

My cell phone doesn't handle video posts but my laptop has no issues with them.
I just had to learn to skip notifications that point to video pages until I'm on my laptop.

The problem is with the cell phones (and tablets? I don't know) not with too many posts.

We have limits on videos, I think it's 10. No limits on links as they are just text.
