Benjamin Keough, the son of actress Lisa Marie Presley and the look-alike grandson of Elvis Presley, has died at 27.

Lisa Marie Presley's manager Roger Widynowski confirmed the death in a statement to USA TODAY: "She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life."

As cool as it might sound, being the child or grandchild of an entertainment icon would be incredibly difficult.

Sad .. I was a huge Elvis fan growing up like so many, and followed Lisa Marie and her life too.
But I don't really see the resemblance of Elvis' grandson to him. His mother, yes, but not Elvis.

Lisa Marie's life has included substance addiction battles, connections to Scientology (that I believe she eventually broke off), off and on financial problems, and who knows what all else. Major issues come from growing up in an extraordinarily dysfunctional family, particularly when there is extraordinary wealth and an avid public watching your every move.

Just as she did, her children have good and bad legacies to overcome.

My condolences to Miss Presley. But I think it's pretty stupid to say a mother is 'heartbroken' ( in quotes), by the suicide of her son. Gee, ya think so......

His resemblance to his grandfather was uncanny! I read today that he had told a friend that he felt the pressures of being a Presley. So sad. I know his family must be reeling. May he R.I.P.
