Each cell has a life and then it dies. What determines the length is the telomeres. Chromosomes are protected by the telomeres are the end caps and as we age they disappear. There was a study done by Dr Hayflict which they call the Hayflick limit which is 51 duplications another words the cell reproduces 51 times and then dies. This does not happen in cancer cells. Studies in labs show that supplemental vitamins C,D,and E in both vito and in vivo maintained increased telomeres. Dr. Alexis Carrel took stem cells from a chicken and they kept multiplying for 34 years 2 years after his death the experiment was thrown out. There is also rare earth minerals like europium, neodymium, praseodymium, samarium, thulium, and yttrium that have double the life span of lab animals. Well if it is good enough for them it is good enough for me. Here is a few new articles from fox news.
