Living near woodlands

We're live right next door to Large woodland areas.( not Canadian large ..lol)...but good sized woods big enough for people to enjoy, although most don't use them, I regularly walk there ..... and we have lakes in the Nature reserve & farmland surrounds too

Living in Woodlands isn't only good for Children's health....it's great for Adults and Seniors also. We've got 40 acres of dense forest, and it's a real nice place to live. I keep a couple of acres mowed around the house, and a nice walking trail cleared, and nature takes care of the rest. I can look out the door, on any day, and find hours of work to do in any direction....keeps us fairly fit and healthy.

Sounds great ! I planted 4000 spruce and white pine with some oaks and maples in the back 5 acres 10 years ago and its a pleasure to walk there. Except summer with the black flies and mosquitos !

Families that live near woodlands are probably much more well off financially than those that don't, so they could conclude that richer families have fewer emotional and behavioral problems and better cognitive development.

So the solution is just for poor people to earn more money. There! Problem solved!

Funny but also sad since this seems to be the actual prevailing economic theories of those in power.

we're usually very lucky, and don't get many Mosquitoes in this country, well not ones that give you aserious bite... so walking in the woodland here at any time of year is pleasurable because we don't get flies, or mozzies, there ...maybe the odd wasp .. but mainly Bees if they're pollinating in the flowering meadows..and of course at the lakes we get the beautiful dragonflies.. of which I took a photo this past Saturday when one landed on the chair opposite me in the pub garden... but they don't sting or anything..

We live in the woods. This is the view from our back yard and there is a park behind our property too. We also live about 2 miles from a small National Forest Park. We were lucky to find this house in this area because most houses are in subdivisions with no view and this neighborhood was not expensive.
