Local scam mimicking a police agency

We have to be leery of any unknown caller, no matter who they say they are. With AI, a person’s voice can be replicated. A while back there was a case where the kidnapped ‘daughter’ called home and money was demanded. The voice was identical to hers. I forget if they paid, but they were planning on it and it was terrifying.

Oh no! Don't use that 4 letter word! Many of the young people starring at their iphones all day feel fear and panic when they hear that 4 letter word.

When I was young I was proud to be a good worker and to have a good, steady job. Guess things are different now? Maybe with that new AI coming we wouldn't need people anymore?
