I was a little surprised that no one mentioned Lockerbie on the 21st. It has now been 26 years when Pan Am Flight 103 was downed by a terrorist bomb that killed about 270 people, including those on the ground. I just can't imagine being one of those people on-board an airliner that blows up or crashes for that matter. So many documentaries always state that the passengers probably never realized what was happening, but that may or may not be the case. I think from what I have seen and read that when Pan Am Flight 103 blew up and from the computerized graphics that simulated the aircraft being destroyed with the hull being separated, I think that it is very possible that some of the passengers may have been aware of what was happening for at least the first 10,000 feet as they fell from the aircraft and it is even possible that they could have been conscious until they hit the ground. If the computerization has it all wrong, and I pray to God it is, then the passengers may have went unconscious just moments after the blast.
It just disturbs me that some a-hole decided to kill so many good people that had absolutely nothing to do with their cause. They are nothing but a pack of low-life cowards.
