London is disgusting. It's a place that I've always disliked but over the last twenty years it's got worse on a logarithmic scale. Filth in most areas on a par with a Rio favela and yes, I do know how bad many of them are, horribly expensive, and a place where "tourist" directly translates to "target". Air pollution is awful as becomes obvious when you use a handkerchief or after a day in the place you wash your hair and see the grimein the sink.
London is not unique in this regard where other UK cities and big towns are concerned but is by far the worst. I pity the pigions that nest there.
