The London Health Sciences Center in Ontario Canada is one of only 4 hospitals in the world to have orthopedic robotic surgery operating rooms for hip and knee procedures. The procedures are done by computer controlled surgical robots.

Cleveland must be one of the four. Did you know that University Hospital in Cleveland just added another 6 robots to do complete joint replacements? They also added 20 new operating rooms. The Cleveland Clinic has also expanded their robotics departments and added something like 60 operating rooms.

Thats very impressive. I wonder what patients pay for those procedures in Ohio ?
 

Most surgery is extremely routine. Yeah, if you're the one getting operated on, it's not. But surgical procedures are pretty standardized, It doesn't matter if a human or a robot makes the same incision.
