Look at this monster!

We started making what Ron calls fried zucchini patties LOL. The fat end of the zucchini is as big as a large hamburger patty and we’ve been frying them up with salt and pepper and other seasonings and getting them all brown and crispy on the outside. They are absolutely delicious!
 
I have always found the ones that large are not very good. I prefer the smaller ones. Just a matter of preference.
I’ve heard that too @terry123 but this is the first time we’ve ever grown zucchini this large and honestly I can‘t tell any difference in the taste. It doesn’t seem to have suffered at all.

I also like to eat zucchini raw...cut it into little sticks and eat it with cheese or dip it In salsa. Tastes just the same as the smaller ones to me!
 
Frying them one at a time would make me crazy. I'd put them on large baking sheets and do them all at one in the oven, seasoned of course.
That was the pan we fried up our eggs in so we just reused it for one patty each. Last night we had the zucchini patties As a side with dinner, so Ron pulled out the biggest iron skillet and we fried up a bunch all at once.
