Look what I accidentally grew while staking my tomato plants.

I started my tomato plants a bit to early this year so before they were ready for the garden I had to stake them. I usually don't have to do this and I was annoyed with myself . I didn't have anything around the house to use for stakes. The string just slid off a soda straw so I went outside and cut a branch from my Trumpet vine. It made several nice stakes.

Today I decided I had enough nursing the tomatoes along and planted them. I noticed one of the stakes was growing. I had enough extra tomato plants so I cut it off and decided to keep my little Trumpet vine. Now I just have to find a place for it. Ttrumpet vine (800x600).jpghe last thing I need is another Trumpet vine but I just couldn't throw it away.
