Only on a senior forum do I hope for SOME insight on this subject! Too many choices-so I'm asking for help. I need to purchase a wheeled walker for my mom who is still active yet needs some security in going out for a while. Hoping for some PERSONAL input, not the hype from the advertisers. Newbee to the forum but we like what we see here!

Surely, one of us can supply you with personal experience with them. If not that, we always seem to slip into hilarious goofs on the subject of which I am proudly guilty...

I am not sure where you are so can't put info about mine up, i suggest you buy one that has larger wheels most have fairly small wheels and i feel they would be difficult to manouvre on rough ground whereas mine handles the rough well, make sure it's a sturdy frame and can be adjusted for the height of the person.
Below is the one i have but they only post to Australia, but if you can open the link it gives you some good info on it.

I put in a pic as well so you can see it. good luck.

My wife uses one when we go out. We bought a heavy duty one (rated 300# even though she is much lighter) with 6" wheels. It folds easily and has a little basket under the seat. We paid less than $100 and it works beautifully, she calls it her little caddie (Cadillac).
