Looking for the right fitness tracker...

I'm doing some activities at the local senior center and would like a usable fitness tracker that's reasonably priced and has reasonable features.

It has to provide information WITHOUT having to connect to a smart phone for things like steps, heart rate and preferably blood pressure

It has to be waterproof since I do some water classes and if I have to take it off, it won't get used.

Steps and perhaps flights of stairs and whatever else it can tell me about calories burned and standard fitness stuff.

Heart rate I can start, say at the beginning of a zumba class, and be able to see it at a glance WITHOUT having to hit buttons, scroll, and do whatever to get it to take the rate. I'd like it to just DISPLAY it for the 45 minute class.

Same thing would be NICE for blood pressure, but if i have to ask it to take blood pressure, that's tolerable.

If it can provide information when bicycling that would be good

If it can talk to the Weight Watcher's app that would be nice, but it isn't a requirement

It has to charge from a STANDARD USB plug. I had a Samsung Gearfit 2, and it was sort-of OK, but since it had to use a special charger, it was always going dead when traveling, would get put somewhere 'til we got home, and eventually it got lost. It was OK 'cause it only cost $80, but it's not worth anywhere NEAR the $180 I keep seeing it advertised for...

It has to be reasonably priced... I don't care if it's the most recognizable name in the world it's not a status thing to brag about my "fitbit" or whatever. It just has to provide reasonable features, have reasonable battery life, and not cost a ridiculous amount.

Ideas?

I recently got a Fitbit Alta and like it a lot. I use it while I ride an exercise bike and it will not count "steps" if my hand is resting on the handlebars - it will only count steps on a bike if my hand is moving in time with my cycling.

You can buy an adapter for a 110 outlet that will allow you to plug in the USB cord. I don't remember if it came with an adapter... probably not. I got one with my Kindle Fire tablet and use that at my "charging station" for all kinds of other things, like the Fitbit, camera batteries, etc.

Hope this helps.

I have used Fitbit and Apple Watch; both are fine but I prefer Fitbit as a fitness tracker. A couple of Fitbit models are water proof, so check their website for the product comparison chart. There is no tracker available that can provide blood pressure readings, though they do track heart rate.

After spending more time than it's worth looking at trackers, I've concluded it's NOT possible to get everything I'd LIKE. The waterproof part cuts the available units WAY down. Not wanting to spend $200+ cuts it even further. I looked at SEVERAL that SAID they had a lot of features for an amazingly low price (Amazon, around $50 for at least a half dozen that claimed to be waterproof and had everything including blood pressure. They looked good 'til you read the reviews.........................

So, I ordered a Fitbit Charge 3. It's waterproof, does most of the basic stuff, has a screen of small but hopefully reasonable size, and in theory, it SHOULD actually do what's claimed. Should be here in a few days.
