Looking for your Stitch.net experiences or insights you could share?

This site claims to "Provide a cure for loneliness by uniting seniors around the world". They host local activities, events, companionship, etc. for those over 50.

Join or not, I'm not sure? Would love some real life experiences and thoughts if you've joined or are a former member.

Well, I don't have any experience with Stitch. I see that it would cost $60 a yr to look for a friend or someone to love. Or to meet other people in a group. Is there no one in your community you can do this with that wouldn't cost you $60 a yr to look at?

I signed up with them and they never stopped sending me emails so I unsubscribed--didn't have one in my area anyways.
