My wife and I were invited to show some of my pictures to a learning problems group.
The group were ushered in some in wheel chairs. We were advised that there attention span was very limited and not to be surprised if one walked out and another would probably go to sleep.
Well what a surprise we all had. We had done this sort of thing before and was expecting not to hold there attention.
We started off with a tiger lovely was the response. After we had shown all of the pictures ranging from Gorillas to red Kites. Every one was still keen to see some more.
At the request of one of the Carers. We showed some pictures of some of our travels.
There were remarks such as look a Church, Look a car, Look a house etc.
The Carers were amazed that they wanted to stay for some more. Unfortunately there time was up and they had to go to there various own homes and there communal homes.
We have been booked again for a Chaps afternoon. This time Airplanes, cars, and motorbikes amongst others.
