Do you carry a lucky charm or mascot with you in your purse or pocket at all times ?

I have small silver St Christopher and a Black Tourmaline Crystal

No but I have a gold charm bracelet a dainty one not a huge thing that was popular in the 70's. My daughter bought it for me many years ago and every Christmas she buys me another tiny charm to add to it...

Aside from that I always sleep with my Rosary next to my bed. Some years ago I had night terrors, sleep paralysis (perhaps)...where I felt someone was visiting me in the night , sitting on the bed etc, I'd say the lords prayer out loud while this was going on, and just after my abusive father died, I saw him...just his head..nothing else, as though he'd flown through the window... since I put the rosary beads by the bed , I've never had another visit from anything..... ( co-incidence maybe but I doubt it)

My Turkish relatives have given me a variety of Evil Eye beaded jewellery, magnets and a personalized keychain. I know some people don't like them, but I do.

Same with me, Wren. I wear a St. Christopher charm on my neck chain. I once was preparing for a flight to the west coast and had forgot to put it back on after I had removed it for cleaning. I had to buy one at the airport, (just a small pin), and stick it on my collar. I would never fly without it. I’m not Catholic, but am a firm believer in St. Christopher ever since I was in the Marines. My Mom gave it to me before I was sent to Vietnam.

i have a small cross that i got for my birthday when i was 9 years old the clasp is broken but i have carried it with me all these years---i lost it a few times but always found it

During a negative period in my life, I found a pure white feather on the ground where I was walking. I've kept it on my night table ever since. It's not a lucky charm or anything.

CM, that's so funny!

I used to but of recent years, none. I can't find my rosary and the chain on which my cross on hung broke finally, and I never replaced it.

I do have a small black, wrought iron Spanish-style cross on the wall and very small crucifix in the bedroom.... not for luck or protection but as a reminder of what they represent.

Recently I gave my necklace with JC on one side and Mother Mary on the other to a young girl while waiting in line at a restaurant. Due to the condition of my neck; I hadn’t worn it in years and forgot I had it till then. The young one had just had her first communion, and I got one of those “feelings” that we sometimes get. So,yup, I gave it to her and the gold chain it hung from.

Was very happy to do so. But, my rosary, I carry in my purse. It is beautiful, hard to describe, but with with pink roses. It gives me comfort to know it is there. However, I must admit if I met someone I felt needed it, I would give it to them. I can always get another. Things are just things.

But share my cereal? Not a chance! Lol.
