I do like the UK!! I loved Scotland and I also loved the Republic of Ireland. We drove through Wales, I think you guys need some vowels!!


I just completed my annual watching of the "Ten Commandments" and I do have to say, I love Yul Brynner.

I'm not a fan of the Common Core at the primary age. They are asking a lot of developmentally inappropriate goals of the kids.

To keep things interesting, I interject projects with regular pencil-paper tasks and tests. It allows kiddos another way to "show what they know" and it helpful to the more artistic (and maybe not so paper-pencil oriented) students. I also try to have some games, so we all can 'let off some steam'.

Sorry, my iPad kept shutting down on me when I would try to use it. Anyone else have that problem?

I DO believe in aliens and have seen a UFO. I love "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". I love the last half hour the best.

I have a lot of books, they are all over the house! I am getting a new bookcase to hold them all, and I am happy we have Little Free Libraries here (so I can donate some).

I hope I didn't miss anyone, and sorry I was so late in answering.

Sorry I haven't been around, but one way and another I have been SO BUSY!.
Going out again soon.
At the moment it is 11.00am GMTin the UK and I am looking to place Arachne in The Hot Seat around 6.00PM GMT, which is in around 7 hours time.
I hope that this is alright with both parties?
In the meantime, please don't let Lydiag get away so easily, and fire off some more questions.
